Detailed Engineering Features

The Rx-IAQ-R1 uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) CO₂ measurement, a method known for reliability in long-term building deployments. With a typical measurement range of 400–5000 ppm, the sensor provides accurate real-time CO₂ data essential for ventilation control and IAQ analytics.

CO₂ readings naturally vary with temperature and humidity. The IAQ-R1 integrates high-precision T/RH sensors and uses them to compensate CO₂ measurements internally. This ensures stability in environments with shifting indoor climate conditions.

Internal algorithms track gradual sensor drift and correct it using reference baselines. Combined with periodic Automatic Baseline Correction (ABC), the device maintains dependable CO₂ accuracy without manual recalibration.

The IAQ-R1 supports legacy analog outputs (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) alongside digital Modbus RS-485. This makes it compatible with modern controllers, existing automation systems, and mixed-technology retrofit projects.
